H&L Advantage invites you to experience what our capabilities can bring to your business. Our new, modern 34,000 square foot production facility was designed to promote lean manufacturing, quality, cost value, ISO control standards, and on-time local delivery.

  • Our years of experience designing plastic parts and assemblies, as well as tool building, can serve to take your project from initial concept right through to production.

  • The Solidview CAD system we use for design is capable of interfacing with multiple software systems such as Pro-E, IGES, DXF, and DWG.

  • By utilizing electronic data transfer, everyone involved in the design process is kept up-to-date at every stage of a project.

  • H&L Advantage uses 15 injection molding machines ranging from 28 to 300 ton with larger machines available as needed.

  • Robotic extractors help ensure consistent cycle times, minimize downtime, and create a "lean" system.

  • Recycling efforts provide not only environmental friendliness, it also minimizes waste and cuts costs.

  • New horizontal presses offer state-of-the-art controls to help eliminate variation in the lean manufacturing processes.

  • Secondary and assembly operations are logically set up in work cell environments; this further enhances lean operation practices to minimize and eliminate wasted time and material handling.

H&L Advantage's injection molding capabilities include the following:

  1. Insert molding - mold to add threaded, tapped, and other types of fasteners during the molding cycle.

  2. Shuttle molding - make multiple parts in one molding cycle adding studs or clips in the mold.

  3. Standard horizontal presses as well.

Multiple durometers are available as over-molded products too, creating a "soft touch" sensation while maintaining a rigid connection capability. ISO procedures guarantee consistent results in the manufacturing process.

H&L Advantage is well experienced in molding a variety of materials, including:

ABS TPO Filled Polymers Nylon
TPR PVC Acetals HDPE
PPO (Noryl) Polyethylene Polypropylene Polycarbonate

Colors are matched and blended on site using MacBeth color equipment to assure parts meet correct color requirements.

H&L Advantage can provide insert molded levelers with the following features:

  1. Top quality insert molded construction.

  2. Cold rolled steel, stainless steel, and numerous plating options available.

  3. Many standard configurations, or customized to your exact specifications.

  4. Customized control knobs also available, including  multiple materials with "soft touch" capabilities.

  5. Steel base glide capability is also available.

Multiple section items can be produced and assembled at a single location providing the customer with a finished, ready-to-use product. Parts can be mechanically snap-fit or fastened together.

Multiple types of materials can be brought together at H&L Advantage to create a complete final product. With metal finishing, plastic, hot stamping, pad printing, fasteners, and assembly, H&L can provide you with the "Advantage" of having the entire project completed at one location.
